Tom Cullen
1931-2001. Born in Dublin he lectured at the National College of Art and Design and Blackrock College. Distinct style using earthy tone's. Best known for his atmospheric scene's of a now vanishing Dublin scape.
Oil on canvas, framed, 10 1/2 by 21 inches. The Poddle is an old Dublin river that has long been covered over. Only one part today is still visible where it flows into the Liffey just below the Guiness brewery.
